Hello, I’m Bibby
Born and raised in Germany, lived in the UK since 2004 and now planning the big move to the Haute-Vienne, France.
I love nature, growing plants, working on the land, building and creating and I also love proper, hot summers. I enjoy being pulled out of my comfort zone so it makes sense for me to try my luck in a new country, with a new plot and a new house to build.
How it all started
The summers here in the UK are short and the long, grey, damp winters are getting to me as I run on solar power. Also, my life is way too easy at the moment. It used to be an adventure and challenge when I first moved here – on my own – but now it’s lost its spark and excitement …
I need a new challenge. I have outgrown my garden and I want to manage a considerably bigger piece of land, try to be fully self-sufficient and have lots of different things to create and build and learn. Life is all about new experiences and adventures, good and bad, so this new chapter in my life is what I need very badly!
